A friendly reminder that the Call for the Workshop “Regulating Contingency: Risk, Law, and the Theory of Regulation” is still open for a couple of days. The deadline for applications is February 28th. All the details are available here.

The Workshop is organized as a part of the XXIX IVR World Congress (Lucerne, 7-13 July 2019). It is intended as a platform for thought exchange for scholars working in the fields of theory and sociology of regulation – in particular, but not exclusively, these focusing their research interest on the issues of contingency, risk, and/or reflexivity.

The IVR Congress is a biennial conference of the International Association for the Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy (IVR) – the world’s central academic organization for the study and advancement of legal and social philosophy. Founded in 1909, IVR gathers scholars from numerous countries from all continents.
More information about the Lucerne Congress is to be found on the webpage of the event.
